@clintbronson5 Everyone has their on opinions. I didn't like how Frank Gorshin made the Riddler too much of a caricature. The psychotic laughter certainy belonged with the Joker, but I found it annoying in the Riddler.
John Glover avoided doing that in the anmated episode "If You're So Smart, Why Aren't You Rich?"
I like how John Astin toned him down and made the Ridder a interesting cross between the Penguin and the Joker.
But hey, it would be dull if we all felt the same way.

@eternalhalloween1 Well that is your opinion. I did not care for John Astin as The Riddler just as I think Frank Gorshin would fall flat on his ass playing Gomez in Addam's Family.

Frank Gorshin was ok. "Hi Diddle Riddle" and "Death In Slow Motion" were good episodes. But John Astin was better. "Batman's Anniversary" is the best Riddler episode.

Frank was the greatest ..he could have played the Riddler today and played it better then Jim carry.

Cant find part 3... anyone?

Gorshin was not as his best here, search for the Cagney AFi awards for Gorshin's talent.

@TojoPanther But entertaining, that's for sure! R.I.P. Frankie!

Hmmm . . . Gorshin died from lung cancer, emphysema and pneumonia -- classic smoking related ailments.
Regardless, a brilliant entertainer who left us a number of wonderful performances.
Thanks for posting this show!
