Eugene Young is about to be made a judge but his interviewers are not very pleased with his views on the Death Penalty. Scene from the TV series 'The Practice'

I do not own this video and its main purpose is to depict a an excellent view on the death penalty.

  • ''our clients tend to disfavor being executed''.Eugene was the best, miss shows like these

  • Somebody can tell me what season and episode is??

  • @drvn8 lol you just now figured that out?The world hasn't had any good qualities for quite sometime now.

  • @Lightner445555555555 then that means the world has no more wisdom than the criminals... do you believe that?

  • @smallral4 That is the point. You take a life, then you shouldn't get the chance to live a full life.

  • @Lightner445555555555 Yes...Because locking people up for the rest of their lives, isolating them from law-abiding society and having their lives dictated by a small group of people doesn't restrict their actions at all.

  • @smallral4 It also guarentees that the murderers can never harm anyoneelse ever again!

  • @Lightner445555555555 A bit, but for me to demand blood wouldn't make me any better than the murderers themselves. The death penalty isn't even there for moral reasons. It's only there to stop the prison system from being overcrowded, while politicians can get bonus points (where it is acceptable) about being 'tough on crime'

  • @smallral4 Arent you even the least bit disturbed that murderers get to live while their poor victims have to be dead and rotting in the ground?

  • @Lightner445555555555 An eye for an eye turns the whole world blind. Two wrongs do not make a right. These are things we learn from infancy. The fact is, though, what would happen to murderers who get put on death row? They rot for the rest of their lives in prison with people who have commited similar wrongs against others. That living is not 'letting them live on'. That's their punishment, which they have to live with until their death
