Hi,here is the translation "In the midst of life we are in death. What helper do we seek except you, oh Lord

    You who for our sins

(Chorus)Holy God, holy and powerful Oh holy compassionate savior Do not give us over to the harshness of death In you our fathers placed their hopes .They placed their hopes and you freed them.

I think it is a very beautiful song....friendly greetings

    Siggy

  • @livinginthepast3 The statement made for that response was that it was an historical Irish dialect, so I said no. Then I said Latin, which it is, and then I said badly pronounced - If one believes that singing a dead language in the dialect of modern Hiberno-English circa 1994, then it is correctly pronounced. Otherwise it isn't. So what I said simply refuted an incorrect statement. I am Irish, and this is the way we all talk. We enjoy it. I got an F in Latin and its "faeces".

  • @brezairola And of course we all know that sung language mirrors that of spoken language perfectly. Seriously, what do you hope to accomplish with this kind of valueless critiquing? Are you a first year student of Latin whose tiny little ego needs such boosting that you're willing to sling your feces around like a hyperactive spider monkey just for the pure pleasure of seeing others wince? What's your motivation?

  • By a minute and a half into this, starts feeling frenziedly bewitching.

  • Are any of them actually religious?

  • Świetne wykonanie.
