  • That is awesome that you still have your original 8 track radio in your Camaro, our 1978 Z28 was ordered with an AM 8 track and I am looking at buying one on eBay for it. Of course I also need to find a bottom dash since the previous owner cut it for an aftermarket CD player.

  • @Jaydoba so you like the 8 tracks too? The thought of cutting the dash gets me upset..

  • LOVE CHICAGO!!!!!

  • @landyachtfan79 awesome band! Saw them in concert..would go again!

If you're talking about a player in your car, I have no idea. In my home player, I have to turn the player off to switch tapes. Otherwise, pulling it out while the tape is playing just pulls the tape out and gets it all tangled up in the machinery.

Everybody loves 8-tracks! (Well, OK, not everybody...just us fanatic weirdos!) lol

  • My 1981 Fiat still has the 8 track player

  • @AreWildZ28 be shire you replace the pads and splice tape in all tapes or they WILL fail

  • How do you eject a 8-track if the player only has a program button, do you just pull it out?

  • I like 8 track!

  • 8-track cassettes rule! They're all pretty classic. ^_^

  • @recordjunkie1968 Hey man, There is a place online called The 8-track shack that sells 8-tracks. They also offer the services of conversion to CD or MP3 and an 8-track repair service... You could go on and enjoy your Guess Who 8-track. If by chance it DOES break, you could always send it to that 8-track shack to get it repaired....

  • @AreWildZ28 Yes, although I'm only 19 I love older music from the 1970s and 1980s. The thought of someone cutting the dash makes me upset too, if I were the previous owner I would have upgraded to an original AM/FM stereo if I couldn't stand listening to an AM radio and 8 tracks only.

Off topic but you should post more videos of your Camaro and maybe a brief history on it? it looks like it's all original.
