Those might work, the only down side I see is that, those are "active" night vision devices meaning they emit that IR light from the front. That means that any one from the opposing team should see your IR lights (using their NV devices) probably more easily than your figure, of course you can counter.

these are perfect for airsoft recon. they take videos and pictures. my friends and i go out in the woods for a weekend and we have a weekend long airsoft war and we camp out and while they sleep i sneak in and take video and picture intel. oh and i sabotage their weapons sometimes. when we jump them in the morning, they jump for their guns and when they pull the trigger, their batteries are gone.

I have the mw2 nightvision goggles and they go up to 110 feet as it says on the goggles themselves. They are really nice and much better than this.

Is it possible to disassemble these, ie screws and stuff. I would like to turn them into a compact monocular to mount onto my air soft rife :D.

@DAvidThEShanKA the mw2 set is worn on the head, these are more like binoculars that can hang from your neck. Same tech, just 2 different ways to wear them.... I like these for thier ease of on/off use
