  • I actually met Sara Karloff during a Frankenstein event a library was holding

  • karloff, was married 5 times..

  • A wonderful person and a great guardian of her father's legacy. They are both great treasures.

  • I was lucky enough to meet her the other day when she gave a presentation at my campus. The same quip about 'Murder She Wrote' made us all chuckle. Really the whole experience was a charming insight into the life of a great actor.

  • What a wonderful interview!! She gives us a picture of her father, personally and professionally, that is priceless!!

  • I love Borris karloff, good clean horror & an acter from hell! God bless him.

  • That was the whole point of the novel except Mary Shelly was saying that the creatures misfortune and tragedy caused him to react in a violent manner against his creator by killing all those around him until Victor died. With no one to rage at , the creature goes off to die in the Arctic wastes.

  • I agree with Ms.Karloff..her father's interpretation of"The Monster"..he

was not an evil creature. He was a victim..and "Dr.Henry Frankenstein"

and"Dr.Pretorius"(played by Colin Clive and Ernie Theisinger)were the

    real villians.

  • What a charming lady! I heartily agree with her assessment of why her father's films stand up, all these years later: first, the fans' loyalty, but also the atmosphere, suspense and literacy of the stories make them easier to love than assembly-line-produced modern gore-fests.

Sara Karloff looks so much like the photograph of her father's mother featured in the 2-part documentary about Mr Karloff. Her description of her father is lovely, and I think he must have been a wonderful man to meet.

  • Frankenstein was the first horror movie i had ever seen as a newly arrived immigrant ! I would like to give credit to Mr. Karloff for my lifetime of passion towards scary movies...and especially towards Frankenstein movies. Anyone know when he passed away?
