I think the important point here should be the comment from the Fox News spokes person,"....we only hire talent that have the ability to generate ratings".

Generating ratings?...shouldn't it be about reporting the "news"?

This is the problem with all mainstream media. It's not about reporting the facts anymore...it's all about Advertising Dollars, Ratings, Corporate Sponsorship, Biased Opinions etc.
