http://www.cabincreekwood.com - Fully furnished mountain cabins just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Choose from one, two, or three-bedroom cabins in a variety of styles. You'll find everything from a pre-Civil War log cabin, originally built by a Confederate Soldier, to a very modern mountain home.

All cabins are complete with full kitchens, full bathrooms, and everything you need for a great getaway. Many have fireplaces or woodstoves, all have outdoor fire rings and grills.

We provide all your linens and towels, and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, and pots & pans.

These mountain cabins are located near Waynesboro, VA, with easy access to many things to see and do.

Outdoor activities include hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, and driving along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway or Skyline Drive (in the Shenandoah National Park).

There are many historical sites and museums within an easy drive. Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, James Monroe's Ash Lawn, Michie Tavern, and Woodrow Wilson's Birthplace and Museum are a few opportunities for those interested in presidential history. The Pioneer Farm and the Museum of American Frontier Culture are two living history museums, giving people a chance to see what life was like in the early days.

Civil War history abounds in Lexington, VA, with VMI, Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, and Lee Chapel. Waynesboro includes the Plumb House Museum, the home of a normal family caught in the crossfire during the Battle of Waynesboro.

Tours of the Historic Downtown of Staunton, VA are available.

Interested in culture? The American Shakespeare Center and Blackfriar's Playhouse in Staunton have an incredible troupe of actors putting on plays by Shakespeare, and others from the same era.

Don't want to cook? You'll find plenty to eat within a 15 - 30 minute drive, including great local restaurants like the Devil's Backbone Brewery, South River Grill, and Vito's Italian Restaurant. And of course, there are plenty of the chain restaurants as well: Outback Steakhouse, Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, and many fast food places.

And yes, your pet is welcome to stay with us!

  • No grizzly bears around here. In fact, we hardly ever get to see black bears, and when we do, they're running the other direction as fast as they can!

  • Wow que paisajes, la naturaleza, aire puro, descanso y placer!

  • It looks fantastic there!!!

  • I love the Blue Ridge Parkway! It may not be as high as Highway 82 over Independence Pass in Colorado or the Davis Mountain Loop in Texas. But aside from the Appalachian Trail itself there are no better views of what is high in the East than the BRPW.

When I take Blue Bell to the Blue Ridge Mountains we would love to stay with yall!
