Faith in the Holy Land -- the Druze community

This video takes you on a journey to the roots of monotheistic beliefs and portrays aspects of monotheism in the Holy Land in the twenty-first century.

All faiths see Israel as the Holy Land and have special rituals and holy places that are sacred only to them. At the same time, what might constitute a ritual for a specific religion might not be regarded sacred by another.

Are we able to look past these cultural differences and recognize that we are all human beings living symbiotically in the land of Israel? Over twenty religious leaders share their point of view and offer us a glimpse to their world, rituals, and way of life.

@MES961 It shouldnt be confusing if u know the meanings of the words Muslim and Muwahedoon. ...We have small difference just like how Orthodox and Catholics and other christianity and so on.

Our Religion is Islam...its the religion....but Sect, we are not Muslims (Sunni's or Shia's) we are Mowahedoom (druze) which means Unity ....just like there are other Islamic sects like Alawis and Jaafaris and Ismaelis and so on and so on.let me know if u want details about our history and dates,inbox me :)

this is wrong !!!!! WE AS DRUZE DID NOT SPLIT FROM ISLAM....we are still under Islam .... we are not muslims but we are Unitarians. We believe in the Holy Quran and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). this documentary should be checked !!!
