  • Jon,I just picked up some bass speakers. Wanted to try an install with a Tsunami TSU-1000 in a Stewart F3 first. Any recommendations?

  • Hello Chuck

Try and make the speaker baffle as large as possible for the best sound. I would suggest placing the speaker inside the the rear hole in the chassis weight - where the gears and truck fit. Place the speaker faing up, so you get double reflective soundwaves (off the roof, through the truck holes and bouncing off the track. this will give a better sound.

You may have to saw off some of the weight to get the speaker to fit.

  • Yeah, second is definitely more bassy. Has anyone made similar experiments on diesel engine sound?

  • Big difference. 2nd is definitely better!

  • The second one is definitely better IMO. The first sounds too....wheezy and like a teapot.

  • Definatly liking the 2nd more.

  • Hello Jon,

Wow! What a difference. The 2nd clip sounds much more robust and had a better lower frequency response. :)
