Docker, my 4 month old Australian Shepherd, recently learned how to catch mid-air. Hope family and friends can enjoy!

  • 1) I am keeping the dog and goign to college at the same time, yes. My girlfriend and I both take care of her.

    2) It is easy to if you do these 3 thigns: Take her to the dog park for a couple hours at least 2-3 times a week...take her for a long walk and a run almost everyday. I go for a 2-3 mile run every day and take her. Then my girlfriend goes for a 1 hour walk and takes her as well. We do this at least 4-5 days a week.

Also, play fetch with her and stuff whenever you can at the house.

  • are you keeping this dog and going to college at the same time? or does your family take care of your dog?

is it easy to take care of a high energy level dog like an aussie and going to college? because i want to take my aussie with me to college but i'm not sure if i can fit them both

Also, if you get them some good chew toys and raw hide bone, she can keep herself busy most of the time. I have a porch..and will leave the door open for her to chill outside and watch cars go by. My Aussie is very easy going most of the time by herself.

I would say take urs to college if you have the time and dedication to TRAIN her (very important), take her for runs/walks, and let her socialize a LOT. I do intensive training several times a week with her too...
