  • @lpmatte2 1) During the 20th century, dozens of countries have appeared in the world. Most of the time, they simply elected a separatist party and it was it. No referendum. Quebec pushed democracy to its deeper limits. 2) We don't receive more than an average province in the "péréquation". We receive more than PETROLLAND, though. But why don't we exploit petrol? Well, 1. it's not ecological 2. the federal government has prevented from exploiting Old Harry, which was given to Newfoundland!

  • @CadetBrandon It's no more a matter of religious and linguistic right, though it was in the 80's. Now, it is quite simple: most of the Quebecors simply don't feel canadian, whether you like it or not. Autonomy is a right for every nation. And we are a nation. We don't ask anyone aroung Canada for empathy. We ask for our country.

The present elections showed how different we are. The conservative party got a majority WITHOUT Quebec, whom voted for a left wing party. Moreover, we have our language

  • @CadetBrandon Are you crazy?!? The "payments" as you put them are payed double by quebec. And you think they could whipe Quebec out and get aprooval from the other coutries if it was voted? And yes there was only one guy killed but that is one too many that is why it is called the "Révolution TRANQUILLE!" we are civilized and make a revolution in civilized ways.

  • You guys are so badass, you killed one guy in this whole "Revolution". Yet you guys still lost. Even after a soft liberal government and a weak Premier. Even if you managed to win, Canada could just come in, invade, wipe your asses clean and its even worse than before. You guys think you have it bad? Christ , talk to some fucking natives then we can chat. They weren't allowed their customs, language, religion or anything. You all get those, and Quebec gets random bonus payments from Canada.

  • @Ozzel1122 Resistance? lol, how fucking lame. Thats called being a little baby. Lets face it, you guys can whine and bitch and complain all you want, but you guys are still Canadians. You can try and call yourself a resistance, you can set off homemade bombs and start up a "resistance" but watch as it crumbles. You aren't occupied. I have sympathy for the Natives, they got poorly treated and discriminated. Les québecois? Hell no, you guys get your rights to religion, language, law etc.

  • @CadetBrandon Oui, on accepte rien.
