@emms25 you should have gone. It is a peaceful place, no spirits, beasties or ghoulies haunt Greyfriars. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Scotland. You missed a real memory in failing to go.

@MusicPredominates The skull and crossbones were a common theme in cemeteries and graveyards the world over until about 150 to 200 yrs ago. They are a decoration and have no connection to any certain type of contagion or means of death.

Greyfriars is a rather grim and scary place. But it is a peaceful and reflective one as well. I grew up next to a cemetery and they hold no great fear for me. I loved my visit here and recall it as one of my fondest memories of my trip to Scotland. A visit to Bobby's grave will dispel any fears you have! Any lingering spirits here won't bother you while you're here.

@AnAwesomeUsername1 My wife & me did the ghost walk around this cemetry when we where on honeymoon it was brilliant & on some of the photos we took there was orbs in them, if you ever go to Edinburgh i highly recomend you do the greyfriars ghost walk.

Hey guys. The skulls and the cross bones and the skeletons are of people that died of THE PLAGUE. In certain atmospheric pressures the GASES come out from the ground. Play around in there and you might DIE !
