The White Birch was a Norwegian trio. The name comes from the 1994 album The White Birch by the band Codeine, one of the cornerstones of slowcore. They are sometimes called the "Norwegian Sigur Ròs". The trio was composed of Ola Fløttum, Hans Christian Almendingen and Ulf Rogde. They played together for 10 years, releasing 5 albums. This song comes from their latest album, released in 2005, "Come up for Air".
