9.29.11 update. Ever since my girlfriend started to transition into a male, many people have been asking me how I felt about it and what I label myself as now. I tell them that I completely support her (now him) in whatever she really wants to do. I love him. And I do not put any label to my sexuality. Yes, I have been identified as straight and being with my girlfriend I have been identified as bisexual/lesbian. And now that she is now a he, straight. But I believe that sexuality is fluid and therefore cannot be labeled. I love who I love. I loved my boyfriend as a girl and I love him as a transgender man. I love him for the person he is, regardless. The gender doesn't matter. Love doesn't discriminate.

  • AMEN! I hate when ppl are like so your bi? Gay? What ? I'm like Smh your so ignorant #LoveKnowsNooGender

  • Aww, I'm glad you're still dedicated to the person instead of the sex of the person. That is what defines true love. So I'm happy for you. ^ _ ^

  • I agree with you that sexuality is fluid! You can't put a label on love. I wish you and your boyfriend the best of luck moving forward! :-)

By the way- I've been watching your videos for awhile and it's so inspirational to see how you have been overcoming the eating disorder. It made me so happy when you said in your last video that you don't feel like you even have one anymore. You go girl!!!

  • cogradulations to him for being brave enough to do what he needs to-and to you for being brave enough to support him (^_^)

  • hey, its funny how both our videos have the same background :)

  • wonderful video. It's great that your boyfriend has such loving support from you during this transition in his life. I would love to hear a video about if you feel this transition will affect your relationship in any way or what changes you expect to undergo, especially if he is going to do hormone replacement therapy.
