Bollywood music composer Rajesh Roshan celebrated his 55th birthday on 24th May 2010. He is the son of Hindi film composer Roshan, brother of film director and actor Rakesh Roshan and also uncle to actor Hrithik Roshan.
Rajesh had a successful association with Basu Chatterjee, Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar. He shot to fame with the score for Julie for which he won the Filmfare Best Music Director Award. He is the first music director who made superstar Amitabh Bachchan to sing. He usually composes music for the movies that his brother Rakesh Roshan either produced or directed, such as Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000), Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006) and Kites (2010).
He also composed the song Jaane Tamanna for the internationally acclaimed film Valley of Flowers (2006) by Pan Nalin. Rajeshs super-duper hit song filmed on Helen, that is Mungda...Mungada... is still the landmark in cabre songs in Bollywood. His latest contribution is to Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori starrer Kites. PIO TV wishes Rajesh Roshan a very happy birthday.
