wow, what an amazing and beautiful and smart pony!! Have you ever thought of entering him in a circus? :P

Sounds like a great plan! A lower, more friendly pedestal is an old truck tire packed tightly with sand??? Anyway, can't wait to see it!

Great tricks! Love your pedestal...have you taught him to put all 4 feet on it??

We're currently working on putting all 4 feet on it. Minnow has deeply routed trust issues so I was a little afraid if he were to fall off of it he would become frightened and I wanted it to be a positive experience. we're working on a flat board right now, and eventually I will switch him over to the pedestal.

wauw that's aswome! Do you use the training method of Alen Pogue? I thought that he trained without food as a reward, am I right?

I use a lot of different methods...I kinda created my own unique style for Minnow. I use a combination of clicker training, parelli, and Alen Pogue methods. and I think alen uses food, but I'm not positive, I have some of his videos, but I haven't watched them in a while so I forget. He may use food inthe beginning and later he doesnt.
Which is the same for me, I use a lot of food in the beginning but now Minnow does a lot of his tricks for no food, except the occasional treat.
