Golden CO Citizens Protest - Buffalo Rose Bar and their Al Jazeera Studio in Golden

Golden has had a protests too during the Democratic National Convention ( DNC ).

The protest shown here is the second protest in Golden. Al Jazeera set up their Studio HQ for the Denver DNC, at the Buffalo Rose Bar in Golden, about 15 miles west of Denver. Original plans were for a greeting and picnic for Al Jazzera by the City Council and Mayor. Due to protests weeks ago at a city council meeting, the City rescinded their open armed welcome for Al Jazeera.
These Patriotic US Citizens stood vigil outside The Buffalo Rose during their taping. They covered all four corners of the intersection in front of The Buffalo Rose. These Protesters received the support and adoration of all pedestrians, while those driving through the intersection show their support with car horns ablaze. Filmed on the evening Wed Aug 27, 2008

I still do not understand why Al Jazzera would set up in a Bar, when Islam prohibits any association to Alcohol !

Regarding the other protest. On Tuesday, an anti abortion protest tried to break a Guinness Book record by placing the largest outdoor protest sign in the world on one of the Mesas (Golden already has the largest outdoor illuminated collegiate symbol in the world, on Mt.
