Short clip of my 1200 Madura accelerating. Probably touched 100mph or so.

  • I had the 85 VMAX, it's faster. I had the ZRX1200R Eddie Lawson replica, it's even faster than these 80s bikes. VMAX brakes sucked, seat was from hell. V65 had cam wear issues, timing chain isn't available, 2nd gear was weak, they easily overheated, wiring connector problems melted side covers, carbs hard to get to. VMAX had short lived carbs, vboost was a blast unless you were in a turn, handling was terrible. Does the GV1200 have a 5 speed or 6 speed OD? I miss only the ZRX1200R.

  • @dalotel This Madura had a 10 speed plus splitter.

  • What is this? The new dick cam?

  • @dalotel I didn't notice a dick anywhere.

  • Get a better mic and re-record this. The sound of a Madura in full fury is pure awesome. I used to hit 70 in 2nd gear all the time. 4 more to go! She will do a wheel stand in 3rd.

  • @EightGodzillas What mic would eliminate the wind roar?
