This is a great song from John's 1974 album "Walls And Bridges". (this is a promo video by the way).
This song is based off of a dream John had, and in the dream, some 'spirits' were singing "Bowakwa Pousse Pousse" and calling out his name to John. The reason behind the '9' is that he had a great fascination with the number 9.
The woman singing the backing vocals is May Pang.
Enjoy!

  • The beauty of marriage is that as the years pass by, 2 really become 1. You and your mate began to look alike, think alike, and dream alike. Only a lasting love can do this, and stand the test of time. John and Yoko had that, they were truly one, and May Pang, Cynthia, nor any other woman could threaten or destroy that.

  • @porock21gr The photo is from Yoko's film Smile from 1969 when John was still a bit more fleshy. It's also on the calendar from the Album Live Peace In Toronto, 1969.

  • @SamantaWinchester99 It's there for Lady gaga

  • "Walls and Bridges" was John Lennon's final Apple album where he wrote all the material. "Rock and Roll" he released on Apple in 1975 was an album of cover tunes from the 50s and 60s. In my opinion, I feel "Walls and Bridges" was John's best album he put out, and with no Yoko Ono influences. This is pure John Lennon at his best. I read were May Pang encourage John to get with Paul McCartney and write an album together, he would have but May Pang said Yoko derailed that.

  • @binkydonnaful May Pang was John and Yoko's assistant.

  • Noooooooooooooooooooooooo...pretentious video to a great song!

    ARGH ARGH ARGH!

    >_<
