These old range lights are in anchor bay of lake st. clair at the end of the south channel of the st. clair river.

  • @JustASeed Ships don't really go in this part of the lake anymore, because it's only about 3-6 feet in most areas. There is a shipping channel not too far from here that was dredged out, and they navigate in that channel.

  • @tebarovski No, they aren't active anymore.

  • These Lighthouses are seemed very well maintained considering one of them have leaned on one side. Very lucky that your government have placed caissons to stop further destruction. Most likely it is lighted at night otherwise it will be a real danger to small boats who do not have sophisticated navigational equipment. I love lighthouses and they are the true Sentinels of the Sea.

  • Isn't that a great danger for the ships in the night?
