@BanisH026 The trick is to know which gear to engage at what speed. You'll be dead if you try to engage the first gear if you're rolling along at 100km/h.
-
@knfk is it not just as bad for the bike to be holding clutch in and coasting along at that speed?
-
@BanisH026 Held the clutch definitely. Dropping to 5th or even 4th is possible, but dropping to neutral at that speed??? Are you serious? That is asking for trouble..
-
@knfk so you dropped it into neutral, or did you hold in clutch? i got worried because i'm about to pick one of these up and i didn't want a repeat of my Hyosung haha
-
@BanisH026 Freed the gear and rolled downhill. Look at the RPM meter.
-
hey what happened at 10:11? it sounded like the bike cut out? :(?
-
@Sinizor Nice... enjoy your ride, dood.

Hey man, I'm thinking of getting a zxr250c for my L's, what are these bikes like when your riding it around on low revs? Has it still got enough power, or do you have to get right up on the revs for a decent amount of power? I'm tossing up between the zxr250c or a honda vtr250. I personally want the 250c, but dad thinks I should get the vtr. :/ If anyone can help me out, feel free too!

@lukebailey457 ZXR250 is not exactly built for low refs. 7000 is about the right rev for a good flow of power. ZXR is a full fairing sports while VTR is a naked bike - guess you need to understand your own likes before you can choose.
