Through a special process of my own invention, I present life-like colorized photographs of the great composers: Liszt,Grieg,Wagner,Dvorak,Guilmant, Janacek,Saint-Saens,Debussy,Ravel, Rachmaninoff, Bartok, Kodaly,Sibelius,Stravinsky and Hindemith. Complete and full rights for the use of the music to this video was legally obtained at my expense from pond5.coms composer: "Soundsvisual." (arr. of Parry "Jerusalem") I am fully licensed to the use of this music for this project and have been granted full ownership for this project.

  • These are so wonderful. I'd plead with you to keep on with composers. To see them in colour is so humanising.

  • @d60944 Thank you ever so much. I HAVE done other composers and the video can be found in my channel page of videos. Liszt and Debussy came out especially well among some othes. :-)

  • @Musique3579 I saw that one too.... I meant *even* more! :)

  • @d60944 Well, maybe someday. Have you seen the colorized views of the Titanic Video? This might(?) be of interest. These were the most difficult of all to try and render.

  • Thanks-I found the Rachmaninoff picture - gorgeous. I can only imagine how time consuming this project was. You have a great eye for subtlety. I hope you will publish them someday soon. Many thanks from S.F. Bay Area.

  • @maestrojimbo You are very welcome and glad you like. :-) They will never be published, I am hardly in any business to do this. Anyone wanting one of my colorized photos feel free to email me and I would be happy to send it to you. BTY, I am north of the bay area by about 550 miles. Neat place. For a while I vacationed in Santa Cruz and stayed in the most charming cottage in Pescadero within a magnificent Red Woods forest.

  • wow!

  • @Janacek1991 Thank you. I am so glad you liked these colorations. Looks as if I am done now with future colorizations of the great composers. But, I have done many. Am now working on the Titanic. Whew, is this EVER a difficult task.

  • @JDLHJDLH Thank you. Much appreciated. Wishing you a nice weekend. Justin~

  • @belialah Thank you so much and you are always such a wonderful gentleman. Yes, these color portraits will only appeal for the most part to the artistic people and Classic Musicians, but I would have done them anyway. It helps us imagine what these great composers may well have looked like if they were still living today. Of course, we will never know, but the art of colorization can help bring us closer in knowing that they were real people. Not just faded photographs. Culture now gone mostly
