井上忠夫　(Inoue Tadao) composed this song, and 山上路夫 (Yamagami Michio) wrote the lyrics.

Teresa's Chinese version is "黄昏里".

Konichiwa, Masami-san

Listening to Teresa after a long day at work. Altho the song is sad, the voice and the melody is somehow 'soothing'. Okashii deshoka.. for me to say that a sad song is 'soothing'? But that is how Teresa makes me feel.. thank you so much for sharing!

Exactly. The melogy is so crisp and rhythmical despite the content of the lyrics.

This is the magic of melodies composed by that charismatic musician, Inoue Tadao (井上忠夫). We miss him very much.

Surely I comprehend that you told me what the Japanese ENKA really is,,, last time.

Most of the ENKA songs are sorrowful and brings lonesome feeling in many other ways to us.Is this a Japanese peculiar national sentiment to loving melancholy songs"ENKA"?As as usual beautifully done this video as well.Fantastic melody,the lyrics,images and sung by Teresa in her adorable way makes perfect.Thank you Masami for the share.

You can feel what Japanese ENKA are when you listen to many other songs sung by various other leading ENKA singers (both male and female).

This is not necessarily "a Japanese peculiar national sentiment".

Dear Masami-san

Thank you very much for the swift reply. Fuyu yasumi will begin this week; and as my last day at work for this; the second term draws near.. I am both very excited (NO work for at least 2 weeks!) and a little apprehensive (Nenmatsu is SUCH a busy time of the year!) -^^- So much to do, so much to prepare!

I'll surely miss the kids and will be glad to see them again when the third term begins!
