@HardWarUK Personal experience is necessarily first person and does not qualify as proof. That's all I wanted to know.

@Account4TheMusic Well, all I can say is I have worked in I.T. for over 30 years and I got fed up asking my I.T colleagues, staff or Managers if they played games as a kid, what machine was it on. I never heard "console" once.

@HardWarUK Show me statistics that favor what you're saying.

@metamemetics i have to get HW cataclysm, i never played it
in hw2 i didnt liked that you wasnt able to zoom into a single fighter anymore, otherwise it was awesome aswell.
freespace? never heard of it,seems to be as uknown as homeworld
but homeworld imho leads the open space games, theyre amazing and everyone who played it either liked it or didnt liked it because it was to hard, and thats what i loved, the game challanged you

@GoodOldN1ghty HW, HW:Catalysm, and HW2 were good, but Freespace and Freespace2 are also in the top open space games of all time.

What can change the nature of a man?

@3333218 So a 50 percent higher chance for some then if they played both equally.

after planescape torment i never had fun with those fuzzy shitty rpgs from today.
while homeworld was the best RTS ihave ever played (in the sci fi saga i mean, even if starcraft was better,it wasnt in the same universe, no other game in open space was better than HW 1"
You had two choices in the 90's, you could get a console and playing driving, fighting and platform games, or you could stretch your mind in so many ways by getting a PC. How many 30 something's are in good I.T. jobs because of their 90's PC gaming? And how many high up's in the I.T. industry have just played console in the 90's?!

I just get a warm fuzzy feeling inside whenever homeworld is mentioned in a top-something...
