  • This is a really good show. Watching this makes me feel like I'm watching TechTV again. Keep up the good work! :-)

  • Thanks, Ash! We were big TechTV watchers, so that's great to hear!

  • and i crertinly dont want to listen to other people talk about it i could ask a question on any gaming forum you wanna name and get that NO i wanna watch for the games NOT people that we know NOTHING about ... sorry for the rant but compaired to previous weeks this week was sub-par on my standards not that my opinion matters but it seems like your are trying to atract more people by spliting the episiode in half

  • Thanks for sharing your opinions. I just wanted to take a moment and explain why I think the new format is going to be better:

    1) My Monday review gets to be much longer when it isn't sharing time with something else. I got to make sure that I didn't miss ANYTHING when reviewing Tetris Party.

    2) I was the only person that was deciding what the Indie of the Week was. That didn't sit well with me-- I was just picking MY favorite. This way we're really sure we get the game people like most.

  • The new format is going to let us add a lot more to the show as well- things we've been wanting to do for a long time.

One of the reason we added audience opinions is because I've been getting a lot of great emails and feedback on the show, and I wanted to pass all that stuff along.

I still give my own rundown on each indie pick -- and it's just as long as it was before, so that hasn't changed. What changed is that other peple get to have their say, too, and I think that's a good thing.

  • popgunner rules! i love it keep going techtv is really back!

  • We're certainly going to try and keep the videos as full screen as we can when possible, it's just that this weeks game sizes were a little strange so rather than cut off the tops and/or sides, we wanted you to get the whole picture.

Thanks for watching, we love hearing your suggestions.

  • I was surprised that run for it 2 won free indie of the week, but It's still good. I really enjoyed this new format you have taken. Keep up the good work!

  • I like the new "split" format, but really my only complaint is that it makes the resulting videos smaller... even if the two weekly videos combined are the same length, it's just not the same experience as getting 6-7 minutes of indie goodness in one sitting.

  • Yeah, I thought there was only gonna be one game on Mondays too, that definately would have made it worse. Good to know it's still the regular show with a bonus ending on thurdays, that definately sounds good.

  • ah i see its still good it just worried me that all you were really doing was spliting it in half oh and thanks for putting the links to the games in the info box

  • Thanks Justin! We're hoping it works out for the better.

  • I like the new format! The 'split in two' argument is exactly what happened when we split Indy Mogul into two. A small amount of viewers will always hate change, but it's the right thing to do
