The fact the protester is alive speaks volumes about democracy and civil rights in Tanzania. Well done to all for not going down the barbaric way. BUT the policemen kicking and hurting him during arrest (he was not resisting or attacking) shows that Tanzania has still a lot of distant to travel to ensure true civil rights and civil society. As they say Inshallah-one day, one day soon!
