@chaosbringer546 In the 1st game, Trish makes the comment that Dante lost his mom and bro 20 years prior. So that puts him at the 25-35 range. Vergil, his twin and seeing Dante finished with his store in "1" outfit at the end of 3 we can estimate that Vergil was actually a bit closer to 20 in the 3rd game. (giving time to fix the shop and what-not)) So now 4, taking place between 1 and 2, could have happened any where between 5-20 years after the events of the first game. Nero grows up then?

Well in all actually there are 6 fights in total between Dante and Vergil (Nelo Angelo) The first two fights (ever:DMC1) are a draw since Vergil retreats after having beaten the crap out of Dante. The third fight Dante still did not technically win. Nelo sacrificed himself so that Dante would get the Sparda sword. The next three fights ever are in DMC 3. Vergil wins, Draw, and Dante wins. So it is, so far, 1-to-1 in the total victory scale. So I guess I'm a little confused by the description...

@Darkslayerqueen not true at all in DMC 1 Dante fights Nelo Angelo ... Vergils soul and wins

@DavidX346 Damn it all... and now with the reboot, none of the questions will ever be answered... :( I want the old sexy Dante back, not the ugly, skinny, black-haired fag :(

@ChildofDarkness469 Hmm. I figured that Sanctus was referring 'The Blood of Sparda' as in inheriting Sparda's power. To me it made more sense. Go figure. Damn Capcom.

@DavidX346 and Nero described his eyes as cold, but there was a touch of kindness, the man asks him, "Do you hear that? The voice of a screaming soul? What is it saying to you? What do you want?" Instead Nero pushed back the question saying, "What do YOU want?" The man smiled and said, "Power, I want more power." Then the whole kaboom thingy happens with Yamato repairing itself. Damn CAPCOM, in the end they never even answer the very questions everyone has.. :/

@DavidX346 believe him, it kind of explains how he got his arm but it doesn't really. He was attacked by an Assault while protecting Kyrie and children who were having a walk through the forest... -_- but I don't know if his skin peeled of or there was just this big dramatic explosion with matching sound effects. Oh, and right before his Devil Trigger activates, the little blackout scene? Nero had a reoccurring dream and it happened again during the blackout. He saw a man standing in the shadows

@DavidX346 Well, there's a novel for DMC 1 and 2, then there's the incomplete manga for DMC3 and the DMC4 novel is still in Japanese. But I've read it and it still doesn't explain anything. It's just about how Nero was found and a little bit more detail about the storyline and that when Dante saw Nero that he had the same look in his eyes that Vergil did, it explained Sanctus' theory about how he thinks that Nero is Vergil's son even though he didn't know who Vergil was at the time, Nero didn't

@ChildofDarkness469 Sparda never died. It said in the beginning of DMC 3 that Sparda sealed the demon realm from demons for the sake of mankind. However, since he was a demon himself, he was also sealed away. Yep. DMC will fall with #5. BTW the only novels I could ever find were with #3. Does it fill in any missing details, like what happened to Yamato being broken?
Dude if you pay more attention to the game. There were only 3 fights between Dante and Vergil.
1st fight : Vergil Wins
2nd Fight : No one wins coz of Lady and Arkam's interfering
3rd Fight : Dante wins
sooo to put in a way. IT'S A TIE xD

Umm...this is incredibly wrong lol, dante never wanted and doesn't want Sparda's power, Vergil does but in this fight and in the game Devil May Cry 3, vergil doesn't actualy die...he fights mundus and gets controlled by him
