8 Core = 60 hrs umm 12 core take a bit off it 25 % - way to long.
2 core, well not even get started :)
Interesting idea and visual.

Jap Water takes a long time to render !
Metaballs , Water shader > Light/shadow,Movement etc pp.
But after all it´s a nice work ;)

I am going to purchase carrara and I think this animation you did is beyond amazing! I look forward to more of your animations. Excellent job! Hope to see more and more! I can look at this stuff for hours lol its been my passion for years. I can tell you like it by how detailed this piece was. 55/5 stars!

why 60 hours?i know there's a sample preset inside in carrara but don't render that so long...maybe there's something wrong with the settings or some kind of bug..like before I was trying to render the scene in maple meadows but it doesn't start to render even with default or low render settings....

60 hours wow! lol.. but ya it takes a while! ive got a quad core duo 2.4ghz and takes a few hours do render stuff
60 hours lol? whats ure graphics card

nope its not the graphics card as it doesnt get used for rendering... it took so long because there are thousands of particles there over the time period which simply takes huge processing power,
it would have been alot quicker if i had dropped the number of particles but i was experimenting :-)

it took so long because the amount of particles i needed to get the splash how i wanted, a couple of thousand too many i reckon...but its a learning thing isnt it :-)
theres a couple of serios bugs in carrara that crsahes out when the particle count gets too high, or when flat surfaces are resting against each other with global gravity set to on
