This greatly improves the old fashioned methods of drawing numbers from a hat, a process which can take hours. This takes mere minutes, automatically outputting files that can be imported back into your database. It uses a random number generator to implement the process.

You provide a text file containing a list of student names, or, unique ID numbers if you prefer to omit names for privacy reasons. The software is capable of handling siblings and other preferences, such as students who must be given preference based on districts.
