That's awesome, man ;) It's just so...different. I was really transfixed by it ^-^ Great job.

Makes me curious if you have one of those just chillin' in your room for practice... I don't know what i'd do without my violin/drums at home to jam on. It's pretty Nutz though. How does a person get involved with such an instrument?

I like your tone. The camera can't pick it up very well, but it seems like you make the marimba sing...

Ok. Thats the kind of expression I expected to see from a college percussionist in the No.II Funk video.

Geez, people are mean, how odd, that they have nothing better to do. I wish I could have been there for your recital.

Hahaha, yeah, people are bitches when they think they are experts.
It's all good, I'll have another one next Spring, perhaps you can make that.

You are very naive. "Twos" and "Russian Folk Song" are not meant to be soft, in fact the exact opposite. I think you'll find that we were as soft as possible in Passacaglia, but think acoustically about where the microphone and audience is compared to the instruments and stage. It's almost eye level with the resonators, so of course the instrument is going to appear very strong in its dynamic.

I practiced this particular piece as if there was an orchestra behind me, and it was my musical choice to not want to tailor it to this venue.
Also, with Stubernic we practiced and performed it for a venue which holds 25,000, and we had no rehearsal time in this hall to know how different it would sound. Would you risk changing your entire playing style that you had been practicing for the last 3 months?

Finally, I don't see you having any proof of your abilities on this website, so don't critique saying things like "really crappy" unless you're referring to your personal grammar skills.
