Why not research who actually wrote the "King James Version". You'll be surprised. It will only take you back to England in the time of King James and Shakespeare. The King wanted his own bible because he wanted his share on the monopoloy on the minds of zombie people (people who don't think just do). So he commissioned writers to RE-write the scriptures to support his agenda. Stop focusing on christianity and study theology itself!! You'll be smarter for it.

@smashsamus You are absolutely correct!!! The bible is a disjointed collection of stories written by men. They've take many different eras in history and location. The bible creates an avenue for that Jealous God call Yahweh (a fire god who lives in/on a mountain). into our lives. He is very jealous. He's a sadists. He repeatedly gives Moses orders to destroy nations (pregnant women, men, children) who worshipped the Goddess. The bible is a control mechanism!

mere men wrote that book you call the bible, with the intentions to captivate and control the minds of people in any given society. these men went on crusade around the world i.e India, Africa, some parts of Asia, the Americas etc.. to capture and take full control of these people. they raped, pilaged and flat out slaughtered these people in the process. the devil is just some made up thing they incuded in the later updates(new testaments) of this lie of a religion that is derived from judaism.
