According to your pictures, Jesus is a white, Caucasian, toga-wearing sado masochistic devotee of Mel Gibson. And what is more, many, many, MANY people have made the same claims. I am surprised that Lewis (of all people) failed to take into consideration that literally hundreds of people claimed to be a humble God - beginning with Augusts (whose humility was the chief selling point of his deification). Don't try to prove your faith - it results in vulgar dogmatism. Just believe and shush

Yes, but actually in the time of Jesus, everyone had known, that many cultures, not only Romans, treated their leaders as gods. Even the Bible says that Egyptians consider their king and even kings of the other countries as gods. Jesus said something different. There is essential difference in Hebrew culture between the terms God and god. You've skipped that.

As you see it is not dogmatism, it is science.
