That is a great video!! I can see why so many people find it hard to believe we actually successfully landed men on the moon and returned them to earth. It is really UNBELIEVEABLE!! They actually built a real flying simulator that simulated the gravity of the moon with that central gimbled jet engine. They couldn't simulate flights with digital computers because they were too slow at that point. And yet they managed to send a crew of men to the moon totally successfully 6 times!!

His words are completely clear.. He is an 80 year old very reticent man.... Thats why HE was chosen to be the first to step out on to the surface of the moon.. curcumstance put him in that position and he is very humble about it. The cold war at its height was a major driving factor in providing competition, thus the schedule was very tight for USSR and USA..... He refers to "celebration of space flight" as a generic term for the Apollo era, not specific to just the moon landing and himself.
