  • @vc210790 The current Russian Anthem came from the Soviet Anthem

  • @Scientisticsoviet I said nothing of technology, and I certainly did not suggest that a less technological society is more efficient. Also, specialization is not relevant to anything I said. I believe you are erroneously equating cities with technology. If that is not the case, then I do not see the point of your statements.

  • @SAOS451316 The thing is the other way around. Technology generally raises the minimum efficient scale of production; For example: The Japanese succeeded in overtaking their Soviet and American counterparts in the 1970s in steel production by building bigger capacity plants using the newest technology (8 to 10 million tons anually versus 6 to 7 for youngest Soviet and American plants).

Indeed, self sufficient small units would even fail to take advantage of specialization.

  • This is the melody of the current Russian National Anthem!

  • Thumbs up if your eyes swelled up with tears.

  • Fellow comrades and Communist brothers let us sit and listen to our beautiful anthem for one day.... one day we will return

  • Awesome version.

  • @Mikeofdundee1987 I do not know as much as I would like on the subject, however, based on what I know of it, it will fail. Any authoritarian structure is unstable, and I believe that small-scale communities based on groups of singularly self-sustaining units are much more likely to succeed than massive city-structures. Single or two-floor homes made of clean local materials that produce their own energy and food and process their own waste eliminate the need for a central governing body.

  • @SAOS451316 What is your view of the venus project? I sadly think it could become a Walden Two, whats your view?
