  • the beatles r wayyyy better than the rolling stones!!!!!!!

  • The stones are a great band but The Beatles are miles ahead in every aspect. Consider how long the Stones have been around, they have been playing the same stuff the whole time. Meanwhile The Beatles recorded music for 6 years and covered early rock and roll/pop, blues, rockabilly/folk, psychadelic and transformed rock and roll into something so much more than what was though possible. Let's be honest everytime the Beatles did something the Stones would be doing it a month later.

  • @tandienewton Oh and you mean sitar in Nowegian Wood and then sitar in Paint it Black?

  • Hold on people The Beatles became so popular because why, they appealed to teenage girls. The Beatles did not invite rock n' roll. Elvis was widely know for singing black music. No doubt the Beatles are the biggest band of all time; however they do not have the best songs of all time, yes some of the best songs but not all of them.

  • The Beatles began as a boyband, then discovered Dylan and drugs and became more elevator muzaky with a couple hard tracks, detached from reality ('Count me out') while the Stones kept the sweat and grit in their music, politically alert 'Gimme Shelter,' and indeed did things the Beatles followed - piano as a main instrument in Ruby Tuesday/Let's Spend, followed by Paul in Hey Jude; accordion on Backstreet Girl, followed by Rocky Raccoon; black guy on Rock n Roll Circus - black guy on Let It Be.

  • Undeniably the greatest rock/pop band ever.

With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

  • @HOPFreak you cant tell if somebody is a crimminal by how they look mick isnt a crimminal he is a musician richard speck and albert desalvo were murderers but they just looked regular

  • @psychlos21 I agree, psychlos21. Simply mind boggling what they accomplished.

  • @juanca758 I feel the same way...

  • The Beatles recording history was technically from 1962-1969. The last time they were in the studio was in August, 1969. Their output equates to 3 albums per year if we use a 10 song per album format. No band to this day has been able to match such an output or the quality of songwriting craftsmanship. The Beatles hands down win. No band in the history of music will ever match what they did. Case closed.

  • this isn't revolution 4...

  • The 2:30 clip is from Sweden, I think. Well behaved crowd don't you think..?
