Venture Cup Startup Competition 2011

At the big final at the Copenhagen City Hall on June 9th Black Silicon Solar Cells won this years Venture Cup Startup Competition and a first prize of 250.000 DKK.

After live pitching on stage in front of the jury the company from the Technical University of Denmark was picked as the most promising start-up company.

Black Silicon Solar Cells is a unique nanostructured silicon solar cell coating, that improve the absorption of sunlight and thereby the efficiency of the solar cell.
