FFSA Super League Rnd 8 Adel City v Western Strikers 30-5-11

Round 8 of the 2011 Devine FFSA Men's Super League the match between Adelaide City and Western Strikers played in memory of Joe Budin. The Strikers were leading 1:0 with a goal from Calvin Mbarga and went down to 9 men with 2 send offs early in the second half. A penalty awarded to Adelaide City late in the second half after Jace Cummins was brought down in the box. Nicky Orr took the scores to 1:1 after he converted the spot kick but the Strikers still manged to hold on to share the points with Damian Mori's lads, a huge achievement as this is the only draw that Adelaide City has been involved in winning 11 out of the 12 matches played.
