Dude. The musicality is fine, for the most part, but please work on the intonation and clarity. Especially at the end, when you have the huge octave A and the runs. That's the climax. It's not clear and quite out of tune. Go back and work slowly. Sure, a couple of intonation issues in a performance is perfectly fine, but I hear talent in your palying, a great deal of it. Nice tone, great musicality. I mean great. It has reat phrasing, and I can tell you know when the climaxes are.
I was treated to a sit-in with a performer of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on Saturday. The violist's name is Yuko Uchiyama, and she blew my mind! This is such a beautiful piece.
Um, no he's playing them right. I just preformed this so yea, he's on. Watch your pitch though, and be careful of how much you ritard. Other than that you did quite decently =]
oh no! you are playing the rhythms in the beginning very very wrong! they are triplets; they don't match up with the piano (the piano has eigth notes), so it should be a 3 against 2 rhythm, not together.
Sounds pretty good. However, it seems too metronomical. If you expressed a bit more emotion and rubato in some places, I'm sure it would sound even better than ever.
intonation, oh boy
