    Also, I can't recommend his old band Sammy enough. You can get their best album "Tales of Great Neck Glory" for about a penny on the big online used CD places. It's like a fresh-faced Lou Reed fronting a more new-wave version of Pavement, with a sort of warped Television-ish intellectual NYC punk vibe to it.

    I think Laptop were one of the first to get on the early 80's electronic sound, there are hundreds of artists in the uk and europe trying to sound like this now
