Stridsvagn m/21, and Stridsvagn m/21-29. Developed from the German LK II, or maybe it really was the LK II, built in Sweden. The design was by Joseph Vollmer, a German, who oversaw the Swedish tank build project.

  • Looks kinda like the Whippit, sort of.

  • @TheCGIMaster The Whippet was the only British tank the Germans thought was worth copying (allegedly)

  • If only Germany had the resources to build like the allies built.

  • Yes, if only. Then The World would be a worse place.

  • sembra uno Whippet modificato e pesantemente armato!

  • Very similar, yes, but easier to drive, and the turret was much more useful.

  • haha osm att sitta i en burk

  • i responded to my old coment and said that i was thinking about ww2. didn't you read that??

  • Actually, the opposite was the case. Germany had a small number (20) of rather poor tanks, the A7V. They used more captured British tanks than their own, and the German crews preferred them. The A7V.was slightly faster and had a sprung suspension, but it performed badly, had poor cross-country and trench-crossing ability, and had a tendency to overturn. The British and French tanks weren't great but they achieved much more than the A7V did.

  • i was thinking about ww2

  • germany rather had a few realy good tanks than a crapload of not so good ones. that made them lose the war faster.

i would love to have one of these "tractor tanks" they look bad ass! and i am swedish :D

  • wow! i've seen a lot of photos of swedish vehicles but never any video footage.... thanks
