Don't worry about Pompeywayne657, daddybeerdaddy. He sounds like a scab, who doesn't have any morals. Having said that if he is from Portsmouth he could be a sailors rent boy.

10ish years ago the ROYAL MAIL delivered between 97 & 99 % of 1st mail the next day. what is it now? 48%?? Most posties are hard working - most managers sexist, racist and bullies. I left after 9 years employment there - I saw the managers steal money that was lost in the post. Had RM been left as it was customers would be getting the level of service they deserve & posties would be on better money as they were 10 years ago! & it was the managers who were fiddling there overtime ALOT!

You should complain to the bosses of Royal Mail. The workers have nothing against you and it is bad that you're losing business, but the ball is in the management's court - they could end this now if they weren't so sickeningly greedy!
i bought a new car with my wages while u getting in debt. hahaha

Solidarity forever! Yeah right! Thats why the likes of me and my fellow Liverpudlian members of the union are now the only branch out on strike. Where is everyones SOLIDARITY for us? Why aren't all the other branches coming out in support of us. All you other branches may be OK with fact that they have changed our start times, but we in Liverpool are not gonna let them do it to us. But anyway thats OK lads we'll take the fight to the bastrds, you just go and work and get paid.

I for one am with you. I can't understand why it's ok to work the new times. If one of the reasons we've been on strike is these new duty start times why is it ok to work them?
Let's hope we don't end up being shafted with the deal.

Daddybeardaddy, I thought you might like to know that we have jusy been to a meeting in town. The Liverpool branch is now the only branch in England who are in the position to negotiate start time and flexability. We have done the union proud, shame can't be said about the rest of the country

good on you liverpool.
goes to show it's not always in best interest to follow the advise of HQ (that's what our branch have done).
Lets hope the national 'deal' is a good one.
