A live performance of:
"Us and Them" was the seventh track on the "Dark Side of the Moon" album in 1973. Written by Richard Wright and Roger Waters with lead vocals sung by David Gilmour and an incredible saxophone piece played by Dick Parry himself!
The original version of the song was a piano piece written by Richard Wright called "The Violent Sequence" written for the movie "Zabriskie Point" in 1969, the piece was not used in the movie.

  • After watching multiple PULSE videos on YouTube I went out and bought the DVD. It is even better quality than this. Use YouTube to find what you really like. Then support the Artists by going out to buy what what you like and post a comment on YouTube saying you discovered it on YouTube. Let the record companies know that YouTube is FREE advertising for them.

  • @thecoolhatdude Exactly, thanks!

  • What's the different bet ween this Band and artist and these new artist and band?

Music and message of Pink Floyd is about Humanity and Compassion. It is not about money and fame. It is not about bullshitting young people and selling their craps as their products- album and songs-. That's why this generation is going the wrong way. Because they are all so empty and so shallow. They have lost their sense of understanding and compassion.

  • This song does something to me, but I don't know what. Makes everything seem in place...

  • Awesome song. "Momentary Lapse of Reason" tour my boss gave me 4 tickets for the 4th row in Providence. I was about 20 years old and Floyd was my first "sit down" concert, I was used to seeing Motley Crue, Iron Maiden and the Scorpions. Every dude sitting around me had a beard and I looked around and said to myself ".......so..... this is what it's all about."

  • There is something magical about this song..

  • I love this song.... Our basement band can play this one.......we call ourselves "Mummy Dust".... we cover it pretty well for rookies!!!

  • Glad I got to witness this marvel of wisdom of music twice in my life. (LIVE).. THEY will never be forgotten... .....

  • Bow to the Buddha Floyds!

  • mind massaging music

  • RIP Richard Wright

  • PINK FLOYD is without doubt the best band EVER!!!!!!
