  • God is the one who initiates the relationship and draws us to himself. You can't find "free will" to "choose God" any where in scripture. God is the one chasing after us, redeeming us and drawing aka tracker beam us unto himself.

  • I get the joke but in all seriousness ''irrestible grace', says that after regeneration the sinner sees the beauty and greatness of Christ and thus WILLINGLY submits to him. It is not a tractor beam kinda thing

  • Probably not the best clip to demonstrate Calvinism with. An evil ball in the sky that draws people to their death? LOL :)

"God is the one chasing after us, redeeming us and drawing...us unto Himself"

That is a nice piece of Catholic theology :), as in the poem "The Hound of Heaven".

  • To me grace is like a beautiful picture it attracts people to itself not by forcing them but rather by appealing to them .... yet it is so appealing that no one would ever resist looking at it ... in this sense grace is irresistible, or as I prefer to say intrinsically efficacious because no one would ever chose not to assent to it ... it being so beautiful.

  • lol

  • FREE

    Jesus makes you FREE

Paul said being Free have your fruit unto righteousness..

what you want is to be a slave to the sin you love

  • ''irrestible grace

means just what the word says,, you cannot resist it... other wise you are ''irrestible grace

forced into heaven... other wise you could resist grace and NOT!

  • Also, Romans 8:29-30. Romans 9:15-16. Ephesians 1: 4-6. I have more but I think those are good.

  • Read openairpreacher's response I gave
