Try listhening to old school Green Day, some ppl like that better, but i like Green Day no matter what. Like the album dookie, or slappy hours, nimrod,isomniac,warning, 39 smooth, but i personally love 21st century breakdown. its my fave... their geniuses for East Jesus Nowhere, 21 guns,ect.

Green Day is way better than all the bands you just mentioned! my objective opinion... dont wanna pick a fight on youtube. like some ppl do. its really sad how they do that ya know? Fail: on atempting to back Green Day down. apparently you have no taste in pure alternetive/punk rock music. again just my opinion

dude, green day are punk because they do stuff that is different and they are not afraid to speak their minds. They never said they are punk and they don't try to fit into the "punk rock" stereotype. They made a musical, and it was awesome.

Judas Priest is really cool, but Slayer or Megadeth deserved the grammy. Dissident Aggressor wasnt a very good song in my opinion. Well, it was good, but not award worthy.

i know im a little late but why does everybody hate on green day now? i mean the only songs that you guys have probably even heard from the new album are 21 guns and 21st century breakdown, but just cuz theres 2 songs you dont like doesnt make it a bad album! listen to some of the songs on it that didnt become hits like: the static age, know your enemy, murder city, east jesus nowhere, and horseshoes and handgrenades. if you ask me those were some pretty damn good songs!
