Extraordinary! I spent a holiday there in the late sixties early seventies and spent most of the week on that boating lake. Images from that time have popped up in my dreams ever since. Fantastic to see it looking just how I remember it. Thanks.

Lovely images of a byegone era.
I've just read Vera Gissing's book Pearls of childhood. She stayed at the Abernant Lake hotel when it was a Czech refugee school during world war II
