Alfred Rosenberg Questioned at Nuremberg Major War Criminals Trial 4/17/1946; US Publishers Observe

War Crimes Trials, Nuremberg, Germany, April 16, 1946., Alfred Rosenberg testifying. US publishers seated in press section of audience. Rear and side views, US prosecution counsel Thomas J. Dodd questioning Rosenberg. First Rosenberg talks about a blockade (Stalingrad?) and the necessity to reconsider the food provisions for the German people, which meant also consideration of an evacuation of Russian forced laborers once they were no longer "employed" in German industries [He refers to document 1056 of German Ost Ministry.] Later, when Dodd hands him a document and questions him regarding its contents, Rosenberg cites from the document, a statement to the same effect. Dodd quoting from the document which was written by Rosenberg. He answers a question with regard to his "administrative plan," which was discussed in a meeting between Hitler, Keitel, and some others and then talks about "Mythos of the 20th Century" that he wrote. Questioned as to his support for forcing people in the East to leave their homes and communities in order to go to Germany and work for the German state, he says that he fought for it to be a "call on a voluntary basis." Pan to Justices Geoffrey Lawrence and John J. Biddle. Dodd at stand. Rosenberg seated in witness box. Woman stenotypist taking testimony. @sjmunoz well,all jews were not rich so when they were forced to buy european names some couldn't afford it so they kept some classical jew names like Cohen which means "priest" and Levi(or Levy) etc.. =) but generally,when a jew name ends with "berg" or "stein" it's most probable that it's an old german name..

@UntilWeFindtheCure alfred rosenberg was NOT a jew..he was a german of the Baltic.......rosenberg was a classic german name until jews were forced to buy european names....read some history first....

@sjmunoz classic misunderstanding...rosenberg,g­oldstein etc are classic german lastnames..jews where forced to actually buy european names(around 1700 i think) but the more beautiful the name,the more expensive..so,rich jews bought names like rosenberg(mountain of roses),goldstein(stone of gold),rubinstein(rubin stone) etc which were german last names...but as the time passed these names were thought jewish,but some really old german families-like alfred's rosenberg- have also the same names..
