i remember this! i was the driver of that boat my boots got stuck under the gaspedal thats why we had to come up to the surface. im sorry next time ill tie my boots

@FleckyRFC13 really a Sea Wolf? Seawolfs were commissioned in 1997 that cut was used in the film hunt for red october in 1990....... The sub can time travel?
-
@FleckyRFC13 No it's not. Seawolf & virginia class subs have the dive planes on the bow, not the sail. they also have a filet to streamline the sail/hull join at the forward base of the sail. That is a 688 class sub (Los Angeles)
-
HOLY chucknorris is so doing that SHNITZEL!
-
i thought it was a whale at the start
-
the earlier 688 had them on the sail, the later 688I (I stands for Improved.... I think) have them on the bow
-
@spider2898 sorry to hear that, my dad worked on subs also and his friend died because he got ripped in half from a line when securing the sub to dock. RIP
-
@bombcat91 True, but the bow planes make the submarine easier to control at periscope depth.
-
@ddeniatpac AgreeIt, it is a pity that these dive bars have disappeared. It was a bit the trademark of U.S shipyards .. and L.As were much sexier before the 751 San Juan.
-
@FleckyRFC13 It's a Los Angeles class, early model. Seawolf class has planes on the bow, LA class has them on the sail.
@1usmc0
