i like the flare gun but it takes too long to reload and im not someone you would call an "accurate shot". I take about a couple shots before i hit them. Personally the shotgun is better but the flare gun has its moments in usefullness.

It's even more retarded when THEY CHASE TOWARDS A HEAVY WITH THE HEAVY'S MINIGUN SPINNING/FIRING.
Yeah, I have a friend who ran towards me W+M1ing and I shred him with the Minigun. Several times. I only died because he kept catching me on fire and I had no breathing room to Sandvich/Medkit.

i always use regular flamethrower (because i can protect sentry nests)shotgun (for range)
and axetinguisher (for cheap crit hits)

@L3re7z NOW the Flare Gun is good. Burn lasts 3 ticks longer now, and if hit from long range it's a guaranteed crit. So when used correctly it's gone from being a harassment weapon to being a PAINFUL one.
