  • Yes. That may be the case but bear in mind that traditional Brass Bands are lyrical ensembles and use cornets rather than trumpets. Totally different.

  • I was there, with stockport schools bb!

  • Very good performance however the bands from the Highlands or Scotland have probably half the amount of brass players and create a much more powerfull sound!

  • Another year of nationals, another win for Hampshire County Youth Band!!!

    We must have been good if the competition was like this! Very good performance (if maybe a little too fast?)
